Monthly Gen AI credits available, but Gemini API prepaid balance is negative

I have Google Developer Program Premium benefits showing five monthly Gen AI & Cloud credits of ₹959.89 each, assigned to my billing account.

Google AI Studio shows a Gemini API prepaid balance of −₹78.48 and says that a balance above ₹0 is required to resume service.

I previously purchased ₹500 in prepaid credits on October 8, 2026. The transaction statement shows ₹490.24 in Google Cloud usage and ₹88.24 in GST, resulting in the negative balance.

My monthly promotional credits remain available and show 100% remaining.

Could you please clarify:

  1. Are these specific monthly Google Developer Program credits eligible for my Gemini API usage?
  2. Why have the credits not been applied to my prepaid account?
  3. What is the minimum action required to resume service, and can I do so without purchasing additional credits?
  4. Will the eligible promotional credits cover my Gemini text, image, and video generation usage once service resumes?
