Google Developer Program shows i have $10 monthly credits for use in AI studio. but i can’t figure out how to use them in AI studio. I tried to use the same TG Poster billing account but my prepaid balance is $0 and requests to GenAI Models fail with “quota exceeded” error. how can i spend these free money on AI studio?

To use the credits:
- Select the benefit in your Google Developer Program dashboard.
- Select a billing account to apply the credit to.
- Create a new Cloud project linked to the billing account, or find an existing one.
- Go to the AI Studio Projects page and import your project.
You first need to add credits to your account with your credit card.
This means you need to bind a billing account to your project and setup the pre-pay plan.
As per the google docs:
Note: Prepay users must purchase Prepaid credits before they can use any Google Cloud credits that are eligible for the Gemini API. Once you have an active Prepay credit balance, eligible Google Cloud credits are consumed before your Prepay credit balance. When your Prepay credit balance on the billing account hits $0, Google Cloud credits will no longer be consumed.
