Hey team, I noticed my model quota reset date was showing as March 13th, so I held off on using it and waited for today. Now that I logged in, the reset date has moved to March 20th — and I haven’t used a single token.
This is really frustrating. I specifically planned my workflow around the reset date shown in the UI, and now I’ve lost a week for no reason. Is this a known issue? Was there a change to the billing cycle that wasn’t communicated?
Would appreciate either a reset of the quota now or a clear explanation of what happened. Thanks.
I got the same issue, same dates as you mentioned as well. I was supposed to start my work half an hour ago and now Im again restricted a week after already waiting several days. What are we paying for? $/€20 a month to get 100 GB storage? As we seemingly cant use the AI features in Antigravity
To provide you with greater control and a seamless path to scale, we are evolving our Google AI plans by introducing built-in AI credits that can now be utilized directly within Antigravity.
Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models. For developers operating at the highest scale who require consistent, high-volume access to our most complex models, Google AI Ultra serves as the ideal comprehensive solution.
Furthermore, we’ve designed these plans with maximum flexibility in mind; if you are on the Pro plan and require additional capacity or deeper premium access for intensive development sprints, you can seamlessly top up your AI credits to customize your limits and continue shipping your best work without interruption.
Thanks for the reply, but this still doesn’t address the core issue being raised.
The explanation about evolving plans and AI credits doesn’t clarify why the behavior Pro subscribers are currently seeing contradicts what the plan was advertised as when we subscribed (5h refresh).
To be clear, the concern here is not whether plans are “evolving.” The concern is whether the original usage expectations tied to the Pro subscription are still being honored.
These lockouts make it practically impossible to use the platform for actual development work despite being on the Pro tier.
Another confusing aspect is how these apparent “weekly” cooldowns are being triggered so quickly. Many users are reporting that their quota appears to be exhausted almost immediately or far sooner than expected, sometimes after relatively light usage.
Seeing widespread quota exhaustion combined with messaging that suggests we are fortunate enough to now have the ability to simply purchase additional tokens doesn’t inspire much confidence that the current behavior is working as intended.
So you lured in people to pay for a subscription, then made it useless (you obviously know we cant yse Flash for the work we do) just to tell us that we can give you even more money for credits that will disappear quicker than you can say Gemini 3.1
Thanks….
For the record, I also skipped buying the S26 Ultra, as how can I be sure I wont be asked to pay you more money just to keep using it
If “Evolving” the plans means “degrading your access”, this is not customer friendly (and hopefully illegal).
I really liked using Antigravity, and made some great progress using it. I also upgraded from the “Standard” (or whatever it is called) to the “Pro” plan because I am actually using it. However, this moving timestamp issue (when will it be usable again?) that was described in the OP makes it VERY unlikely that I’ll upgrade to the “Ultra” Model as you suggested. How can I be sure that the same thing won’t happen there again? Maybe it says “Come back in two hours”, but when I do, it will say “Try again tomorrow!”?
There needs to be some kind of transparent Service Level Agreement, right now, it is more or less just a matter of luck whether I’ll be able to work tomorrow, or not. This won’t work, google. I’m back to using github-copilot for the time being, and if this won’t be fixed, I’ll cancel my subscription as well.
Ok, this is getting ridicolous, google!
Today I used AG for the first time in about 14 days. After maybe 4 hours, I had used up my quoto and swithed to using my “AI credits”. Within about 30 minutes, I had burned more than half of them. Now, When I’m looking at my quota, it. says “Refreshes in 6 days and 18 hours”.
Nope, this is getting to expensive, and this is totally unpredictable in its behaviour.
I’ll cancel my subscription, this is not a “Pro” tool nor a “Pro” plan.
Funny side note: They “warned” me what benefits I would loose when cancelling.
I am really wondering where this “direct support from Google experts” ever was, when the only poor Google guy that seems to read in this forum never gave any direct and clear answer.
