Hi I am student studing at Korea university
While I am studing about AI I have some questinos that AI has creativity.
Like draw something that doesnt exist.
Ai tends to stick to general consensus and the cliche most common versions of things since that’s what’s most of the data is that it’s trained on. It can do abstract creativity but it struggles and ends up hallucinating and not really being that helpful. It’s also bad with using specific creative techniques since it’s not really trained on techniques. It’s like listening to a million poems in Japanese and then someone asks you to write a poem in Japanese. Although you have never learnt how to write a poem, you picked up a lot of patterns in those 1 million poems. And you don’t even know the language but you can string bits of what you heard together. It’s not really creative in that sense because it doesn’t really know the meaning or the techniques used to create it. It can rattle off the techniques but actually practically using them is a completely different story.
