I’m a brainstorming machine. I created a flow chart for a chatbot that would learn how to respond to messages by asking how to respond to a phrase. Essentially, you would program it how to speak by speaking to it. It would use text-to-speech and distation to create simple, brief responses to certain questions. The questions would be broken down into keywords for a search engine to find the best match, and then it would randomly choose a response from the listed responses.

I designed this back in 1995 and tried to get people to help me make it. I even paid people to make it for me, and none of them followed through. They just complained that I was making AI.

Cut to now. “Hey Gemini, make this code for me.” Done. So now I’m looking into making a sentient agent with emotions.
