Hello, I’m a university student studying in South Korea.
While studying AI, I came across a question that I’ve been curious about.
Is AI truly creative?
For example, I’ve heard that when someone asked GPT to draw a picture of a glass filled with wine, it wasn’t able to do it properly. Based on that, and considering that AI operates on data, I believe that AI isn’t actually creative.
I’m not sure what the future will bring, but as of now, I don’t think AI can be considered creative.
What do experts think about this?
I think AI is creative, very much so. It always offers creative and useful ideas but I see what you mean, it can fail especially with photos and images. The key is asking the right questions and taking the right approach. AI has long way to go so, yes, there is room for improvement and your contributions via script and code could prove valuable. For example, I noticed some niche areas AI is weak in so I launched AI chat bots in those fields like IC Design software modules and crypto scripts, custom VLLM rollouts and financial markets or astrology. Many opportunities for dev.
