Google, you are a total joke!

When OpenAI said the new codex was written by the chatgpt itself, I was totally concerned about AG, I was like, dammit, after all these things that Google messed up, they will do the same

Voila! They even copied Codex App’s interface, and then reduced it to a few buttons!

guys, this is not a trust-building behaviour. I was expecting you to somehow mess up the AG, but looks like you DID exceed all my worst expectations

You cannot let the vibe coder make a huge upgrade saying “this is a regular update” and expect love from your users. You could’ve released it by Gemini Agent name, jeez, that would’ve been good for many people who don’t need IDE… but… Google did what they usually do

Disappointed…

Of course, there will be people who say: “You could just downgrade to 1.32” or “Wipe clean and reinstall IDE only”, but this is not what I wanted to do this morning, absolutely childish behaviour of Google, with a childish interface of AG got me stuck for hours.

they literally copied the whole gui . I mean is till need to compare the codes accpet decline etc . The gui looks so bad . I love the vs code style

Funny thing is: Codex in comparison is more comfortable to setup… it’s like jpeg downscaled from fullhd to 20x20 pxls losing all the details :man_facepalming:

One of the worst updates lived on my entire live

I use AG IDE and AG 2.0 on Ubuntu. Working perfectly.

Same here. The whole 2.0 update is an absolute disaster. I did a 100% clean installation on macOS (wiped Application Support, purged all caches, cleared settings), and the Extensions Marketplace is completely dead.

Every single attempt to open it or pull a plugin results in a loop of fatal Dependency Injection errors inside the window log: [createInstance] aae depends on UNKNOWN service agentSessions.

They literally pushed a compiled production build where the core AI agent environment is missing its own session service, causing the IDE to spam requests and trigger immediate HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) rate limits from the server.

I’m getting same issue,
[error]
[Window] [createInstance] aae depends on UNKNOWN service agentSessions.: Error: [createInstance] aae depends on UNKNOWN service agentSessions.

Now the AG IDE has its own folder, you can allow AG to resolve the issue (after choosing the folder with antigravity-ide - prompt: “Resolve the issues with AG IDE, first copy the contents of the antigravity folder together with all extensions, skills, memories etc, then make sure they are connected to AG IDE in settings”
It will do the job, but prepare for inconsistencies as the AG IDE doesn’t have all teh modules the AG 1.32 had, even the Ctrl+Del won’t work properly from start

I would better to switch back to VS Code with agents. Atleast I will then have continous work. Because of this stupidity of Antigravity all the developers are suffering. They should close the antigravity
