Why am I experiencing a rate limit when using Google AI Studio 2.5 Pro on a web browser, without using the API? Is this permanent or temporary, and will the limit be removed later?

That’s normal, you got a token limit there, that’s why there is the token counter in the upper corner.
It’s for get used to and get a feeling how much tokens are used but u can start unlimited new free chats

(normaly it has to be 2b tokens p chat)
The rate limit decreased a lot yesterday. Too low to be of any use

I got only 1 in the evening did you? I am not sure where they are going with this but it’s all poo-poo water. ALL AI is going thru this. It never was built on honest grounds.

I felt that too. Did they issue any notification about it? Will the quota be permanently reduced or just temporarily?
