Google AI Pro Subscription - Antigravity Quota Not Working as Advertised (10-Day Lockout Instead of 5-Hour Reset)

They should offer refunds for degraded service. Seems like the logical thing to do.

Same thing. They changed this, and I am very frustrated. Bought AI Pro for one Year, because of the 5 hour reset, they said and then just 2 days later they change it to these limits. This is a scam nothing more

This is not a bug. This is how Google fixed the ““Agent execution terminated due to error.”” bercause they were over capacity. I’m sure the weekly limits will be relaxed a bit, but, the days of 5 hour resets on Claude Opus for $20 are over.

People complaining about the quotas, do they not realize they are using a 3rd party extension to even see it? Think about why that is the case. And by the way… that extension doing things like pre-warming Opus to expire early are exactly why this was shut down. As usual, a few greedy people ruin the party for everyone

Im also having this similar issues..

Wow! I thought I was alone in seeing this. Hope this is not a rug pull.

Would love some more communication on this from Google. +1

Yeah you are correct that people are using 3rd party extension as natively they are not showing rate limts.

Yeah for $20 5 hour reset is definitely not feasible sure there will be weekly limits but they did not clarify and suddenly this happened

I signed up for Google AI Pro specifically because it advertised a 5-hour quota reset. That was a deciding factor for me.

Now I’m seeing 10-hour reset windows instead. I hit quota at 4:00 PM on 2/2, and the reset isn’t until 10:00 AM on 2/3. That is not a 5-hour reset — it’s double that.

This is not what I agreed to or what I’m paying $33 AUD for. If the quota behavior has changed, it needs to be clearly communicated. Right now, this feels misleading and unacceptable for a paid tier.

Please fix this issue or clarify immediately whether the advertised 5-hour reset is still being honored for Google AI Pro subscribers.

That’s not the point, quotas were claimed to be refreshed every 5 hours so it SHOULD happen regardless of any extension you use. That’s irrelevant.

  • I have the same issue that just occurred yesterday. I used it first after paying for the second month of the pro subscription, and this happened, I was shown that I could reuse Opus after a month instead of 5 hours limit. I should have switched to some other platform instead of wasting my money here. Even though Antigravity provides good agentic support, but this feels like they are playing a hidden game of cat and mouse here.
    • I even reported this bug, but I doubt this will be resolved for at least some days, like a week or a month, where all the users will be using alternatives. Then again, these people will start offering free and loop repeats.

I find this a bit absurd. If people don’t use the plugin, wouldn’t they notice that Google’s “5-hour” promise is misleading?

And it’s not just an extension from 5 hours to 12 hours… it’s a full 7 days.

Furthermore, how does Google distinguish between users using the plugin and users actually doing the work? This isn’t fair to those genuinely using it for work.

I sincerely hope that someone from Google will come forward and explain what’s going on as soon as possible.

here i see i am supposed to be thankful for 3 days lock instead 7 days lol

Yup at me too.

After 20% fill up now over 3 days cooldown @Google_Google whats up with you? Is it that way you handle your subscribers? REALLY?

Yes, it’s annoying, but be respectful. You’re not talking to your AI, there are humans behind this tool. They probably have technical constraints due to the huge number of people requesting their models (API, Gemini via chat, Antigravity).

The main problem is this for 7 day cool down:
2026-02-02 10:48:18.501 [info] W0202 10:48:18.500042 33590 client.go:137] failed to set auth token
2026-02-02 10:48:18.502 [info] W0202 10:48:18.501133 33590 log_context.go:106] Cache(userInfo): Singleflight refresh failed: You are not logged into Antigravity.’

I pay for this. They don’t get the bug since about 1 week? Little bit yes. So yes…

I use the AI Pro plan and get a limit of up to 147 hours. This is crazy because in 2 days I only get a limit twice and the normal reset is 5 hours. I always wait until the full reset is 5 hours. And today when I use it and get a limit, I have to wait 147 hours. Doesn’t Google see these complaints?

Yes an another issue is it is showing “you are not logged into antigravity” which my cause users to think their pro plan is getting same limits as free.

same isssue here, and it last for 2 weeks, and no one in google even cares

experiencing same issue. like @rolandchieniei say, it’s a bit absurd. it’s just nonsense if its’s related to the third party. but i think it might the issue? does everyone here use third party for monitoring quota?

what i have tried was i uninstall the antigravity, and then re-installing the latest 1.15.8 version but this time i’m not installing the third party (for monitoring quota). and i’m just waiting so my quota get reset, do re-login, and everything seems normal until now. have been trying to create a random project and everything works well until this time (almost half day now). experiencing quota but it got reset within 1 hour. let’s see in the next couple hours.

you are right it is a bug, try accessing your data roaming [user]you are right it is a bug, try accessing your data file [user]/local/gemini/google_antigravity/ select cache [usually here and you can delete all logs and data, this is the same] don’t touch the program files only, that’s the main problem actually because Google’s system might consider it corrupt and you’ll need to re-download.

but this is simpler… undih revo but this is simpler… download revo and delete the application.. don’t forget to export the chat .md before deleting (above the chat in Antigravity, export it, specify the target (I recommend rooting so that later you can just send the file to chat and the process will run smoothly without further explanation)
