happened again the same. Pro user. Haven’t use antigravity for 2 full weeks. Today I used Opus from 100% to 20% and waited the 5h cooldown. SURPRISE , on reset, only 40% available and resets in 2 days . last time was 7 days, now 2 days. I can not belive this is the cuota of a paid user, seems a scam . I can use opus on arena.ai free more than in antigravity with a PAID Pro subscription. Everything is so murky and opaque. There’s no communication. I didn’t think Google handled customer relations so poorly…
After working kind of for half a week (still only gemini models) we are now back to waiting times measured in days/weeks again. I also note that being in 20% region means to be extreamly careful and don’t work on anything that is considered “delicate work”.
Just as i thought the verification bug is worse already, now i have to face alternating lockups every week. Last week is resetting in 5 hours just fine, now starting this week hitting 12:01 AM Monday, its back to 114 hours. Next thing i know after the cooldown has finished, its back to normal for next week. What is wrong with this thing?
I have not used Antigravity for 3 days and now i was just doing a simple prompting of creating a README file. Then i noticed it goes straight to 20% quota balance and the cooldown resets to days.
still exist. this is frustrating.
I am facing the same problem, so as a workaround, I don’t work off of one model like Claude. I create a plan using Gemini Pro, and once the plan is done, I move to Claude. All the conceptual tasks are done under planning mode leveraging Gemini models; once done, I start a new conversation within the same workspace leveraging Claude, referencing the planning file. This certainly helps but doesn’t solve the core problem (WHY THE QUOTA IS EXPIRING SO FAST AND A LOCKOUT FOR 7 DAYS) when I have a Google AI PRO account. OVERALL NOT HAPPY ![]()
feels like the people working on this IDE are just vibecoding through the stuff, when one issue gets resolved, another bigger issue pops out of thin air.
even Claude Code at 20 dollars a month gives out more generous limits than this, and lets face it, Antigravity is just below average when compared to Claude code
I suggest that everyone who is having problems with Antigravity regarding these absurd quota reset deadlines should start posting videos on social media and show the company’s lack of commitment to its customers worldwide.
Without giving answers about what is being done to correct the problem.
Really show the problems encountered. Because we only see people on YouTube reporting how wonderful the AIs are and they don’t show the rotten side of their malfunctions.
Even paying little, they should treat us better than this.
Google AI Pro plan seemed too good to be true in the first place.
This quota limit update just kills us.
I encountered the same issue on the Pro plan.
I didn’t use Antigravity over the weekend. The last time I used Antigravity, I had 100% quotas for all models. Today, I logged in and saw that I had 40% left for Claude models, and the quota would reset in four days.
I’ve been reading reviews and hearing stories from colleagues, and it seems to me that this is just random.
Everyone’s quota reset situation is different. Some people use models very frequently, and their quota resets every five hours. Others, like me, get random quota reset times even without using the models.
I sometimes wonder if even Google employees know how this works, because no one can provide any official comment or description of the quotas.
Possible the 5-hour reset is for Google models, but not external models? That’s how I’d interpreted it.
THIS IS WHY ANTIGRAVITY DOES NOT SHOW QUOTA USAGE AND WE NEED TO INSTALL EXTENSIONS.
Same here, pro user .
Last week I used Claude until I reached the usage limit. It showed that I would get my usage back in 5 days. Today, after those 5 days passed, my usage was reset, but before I even used it, it showed that I only had 60% remaining. Also, after I finish this 60%, the next reset is scheduled in another 5 days. Could you please explain why this happened?
Check if your age is verified. If not, even with AI Pro you’ll still be using the free tier.
Same issue. Went to bed due to a 1hr timer, woke up and says I have a 3d 9h reset timer and it didn’t reset. I’ve been Antigravity heavily since it came out and all of a sudden today I start getting this? Nevermind that Google’s site is a complete mess for knowing where to go to find information.
The lack of transparency on their quota system will eventually lead to class action litigation if this is an intended feature.
don’t see free month on Codes pro anywhere? Are you talking about the limited free option that is free for everyone?
You’re right, and it’s completely intentional on their part.
They don’t even offer refunds.
The 4-hour to 7-day block is an intentional block put in place to pay for the Ultra plan.
Just look at all the posts where they mention switching to the Ultra plan to get a better quota.
Does not matter. I have done that to both my Pro account, no use. The problem itself lies on how Antigravity actually communicate to its custom backend while also managing Google Cloud Platform services that is created on our account by Antigravity.
As far as i know the custom backend are the one handling the quota splitting (based on Antigravity Output)
Except Ultra plan subscribers are seeing the same issues. They are destroying trust and not addressing it is only making it worse.
It might be regional or maybe it has expired. I’m on the free month right now. Also they state here Codex Pricing that you get 2x the usage for a limited time. So far I’ve been able to work non stop and still no where near running out of quota. I hope you can find the free month but it is possible the offer has be expired now or they are region filtering etc.
