I have been a Google AI pro user for over a year now and been working with Gemini daily. But today I have noticed that in 2 - 3 prompts my limit to use “Pro” getting exhausted and the quota is going to reset again in 5 hours, happened 2 times today.
Earlier like till last Thursday it was working fine and usually it took lot of prompts to exceed the limit.
Is anybody else as well facing the same issue? Is these are issue in Google / Gemini end?
Wonder if anyone actually look into these issue / not as still I am facing the issue and if not fixed ASAP will have to cancel sub and move on to claude / gpt
I think I might have figured out the issue happening.
As I have been building some codes, sometimes to make the chat session have the entire context what we have build so far I use to share the entire code for referrence.
Earlier it didn’t created any issue but now if I do this, every time we do any chat, the entire chat history along with the codes get sent to Gemini which consumes huge amount of tokens and ultimately making the limit exhausted in couple of chats.
So to avoid this we need to figure out ways so that the chat session does have the context of the codes but not the entire code which in my case of few thousand lines as well.
Same here. I’m ready to give up on Gemini after the 3.1 update. It’s been neverending bugs.
Why is Google not acknowledging this and addressing it? Shouldn’t a company selling a service be required to reverse charges when this kind of thing is happening?
