Google AI Pro account receives “User location is not supported” in AGY CLI

Hello,

I am using Antigravity CLI 1.2.8 with a personal Google AI Pro account.

Google Terms shows my account country/region as Japan. Google OAuth login succeeds, but every prompt in AGY CLI returns:

FAILED_PRECONDITION (code 400):
User location is not supported for the API use.

Error ID: 419af8e1-d6ea-4c05-806d-a779f6bad609-1

Could you please review whether my Antigravity eligibility or account region association is being evaluated incorrectly, and advise the official resolution?

Thank you.

Hi @kobe_trump ,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the Error ID.

Could you please try the following steps to resolve this:

  1. Check Your Network Egress IP, VPN/Proxy, & IPv6 Routing:

    • Model API calls validate your live egress IP in addition to your account country. Ensure you are running agy on a direct local connection in Japan (without a VPN, split-tunnel proxy, or a remote cloud VPS whose datacenter IP range may be unclassified).
    • If you are on a direct residential connection in Japan, try disabling IPv6 on your network adapter (so traffic routes over IPv4), as newly rotated ISP IPv6 blocks can occasionally be misclassified by upstream geolocation checks.
  2. Verify Your Google Payments Profile Country:

    • Visit Google Payments Settings and verify that your active billing profile’s Country/Region is also set to Japan (and close any secondary payment profiles tied to an unsupported region).
  3. Update Antigravity CLI to v1.2.9 & Purge Cached Keyring Tokens (/logout):

    • Please update from v1.2.8 to the latest Antigravity CLI v1.2.9 release (Google Antigravity - Download), then run the /logout slash command inside agy to purge your cached authentication tokens from the system keyring, and relaunch agy to sign back in.

Please let us know if the issue persists after checking these settings, and we will be happy to assist further.
