Hi I am trying to create app where I want to prompt it to reply in certain regional indian languages like Hindi, Gujarati or Telugu, however it does not respond effectively for Gujarati and Telugu however it works fine for Hindi, also it does not provide any response when I ask it to reply in specific language (eg: Gujarati and Telugu)
Any idea what I could be doing in correctly in my prompt

I believe the answer to your question is, Gemini will respond in Hindi because it is listed in the languages it can handle: Gemini API | Google for Developers
The regional languages like Gujarati are not listed.
Yeah , most of the language are not supported , even though it may understand some but can not generate properly, and if keep such language in chat it make model to occur “errors”.
