Posting out of desperation as Gemini is repeatedly making mistakes attributing reviews of other hotel/motel with similar names to our inn seriously impacting our traffic and census. It’s been going on for months now and we have not been able to find a recourse to alleviate this. Our inn generally gets excellent reviews accross board including 4.7 on google but it says terrible things like blood on sheets, that it’s dirty, needs remodeling (it’s been remodeled thoroughly) etc, etc, etc… Gemini even admits that it’s taken some of the reviews from other lodgings but seems unable to correct them. Please help! My wife is literally spending hours a day for many months obsessively trying to correct this but without a dent.

I’m not a developer. I’ve been doing internet search for my business, Pacific Beach Inn in Washington state and gemini (really the only AI summary that has been doing this) has been producing review summaries that are horribly negative based upon apparently conflate reviews of other nearby or similar sounding businesses. My property has a 4.7 star average on Google reviews but the ai summaries are extremely negative noting problems like dated decor, dirtiness, rudely management, blood stained linens, bugs, etc that are completely opposite of the vast majority of our actual reviews. There was one review from 2007 which ai is using to justify the comments about dated decor. But when questioning the ai further it reveals that it thinks there are multiple recent reviews that state this is an issue. These reviews are for other businesses, some of which are our direct competitors. There are no recent reviews which complain about decor, management, dirtiy rooms, or any kind of thing that ai has been saying was negatives about us. Quite the opposite. Our reviews speak glowingly of our nice updated rooms, friendly helpfful staff, accomodating managment. We have worked hard to make a great business and ai is trashing us every single day for no reason. This has been going on for months and I have tried everything recommended to try to address it. At this point our business is down by half, as one would expect for a dirty, dated rudely managed property. Is there any hope you can provide?
