Gemini 2.5 Pro is not providing accurate information

I wanted to share an interesting topic I came across regarding Gemini 2.5 Pro, which I used today. First, I wanted to ask Gemini for the IMDb rating of an episode of a series I watched that I couldn’t find myself, and I asked for the source. It gave me the rating and the source link. But the link it gave me was for something completely different. Later, I noticed this error and asked again to test a rating for an episode I knew, requesting the link. When I told it the link was incorrect and showed it a screenshot, it apologized but kept providing the same link repeatedly.

What is the reason for its inability to access the correct information and its persistent repetition of this, possibly due to hallucinations or another condition? Do you have any idea why Gemini, one of the most advanced active artificial intelligences, is behaving this way? I would like to point out that I get a similar error with Google Search and even DeepSearch.
