This is completely false information. There is nowhere for me to find support about this. I work with Intel, my projects have been supported by Microsoft, NVIDIA, Amazon, IBM, I am part of your Google Cloud for Startups program. I have spoken at tech events and universities on behalf of Intel around the globe. The information that somehow is coming out of Gemini Pro 1.5 002 is completely false and extremely damaging!

They literally have disclaimers plastered all over the site mentioning that gemini can produce false information. So go ahead, sue them if you wanna go bankrupt lol

Those disclaimers are there for a reason, they can be brought up in court of law and will be used to dismiss these kinds of lawsuits, but if you are not willing to take my word for it then go ahead. No one’s stopping you here, lets see how that plays out. I don’t stand for giant corporations but you are not being rational here

Can someone from Google respond? This is not hallucination, this is an attack! Variations of this answer come through every time it is asked. There is no information on the internet that suggests this, it is completely false, yet the answers persist across sessions. This is how your company treats people that are part of your programs?

Ok, I was extremely angry at this. But ok, I take your comment, and I will explain why this is so bad. A lot of my open-source work is related to my non-profit that was set up in memory of my grandfather who died of Leukaemia, through my loss I created a non-profit consisting of developers, professors in AI, and medical experts, we had a doctor of hematolgoy and a PHD in immunology on my team. This work was supported by Intel, I demonstrated it ICML, and various tech events around the globe. We were supported by a program that was part of the EU, we were supported by one of the largest medical organizations in Barcelona. We worked with univerisities. I dedicated everything I had to try and help people through this work, and I lost everything by doing so due to the covid situation.
Aside from that, I have dedicated my life to trying to help people adapt to modern technologies. I rebuilt my life after COVID and in the last three years my work has gained the support of the companies I mentioned above, after all that work, and all of that struggle, I now have an AI slandering it all.
I do regret opening with that, but I am reaching out for help to resolve this. I actually had a big argument with someone that claimed to be working inside DeepMind not so long ago and it seems a bit of a coincidence that this is happening. There is not a single validated source that exists on the internet with the information that is coming out of Gemini, not a single one, and this is baked in, this is not finding information on the internet, it outright slanders and defames myself and my work, and refuses to provide sources, this is in the training data not on the internet.
I am reaching out to try and find help with this as it could potentially ruin everything I have spent my life building. You ask any other AI out there, none of them respond with any such information like this, because it does not exist.
To anyone reading this, please understand why this has hit me so hard.
My reaction was an emotional one, and I apologize about that, but this is really affecting me.

Just look at this. I am absolutely nothing to do with any organization named OpenAI Lab, nor have I ever said that, not once?? This thing is blatantly attacking me with completely false information.

dude. calm down. this is an LLM hallucinating that you are taking out of control. please use an LLM with web search abilites for example, Perplexity, and it will post likely give you a correct answer. I’ve attached my perplexity usage here (not sure how correct it is either):
All of the other AI’s get the correct information, most also get the articles Intel and NVIDIA and other companies have written about my work. That is why there is something not right here, this is not straight forward hallucination, I work deeply with LLMs and know them well. This is an attack, it is damaging to my name, it is damaging to my work, and it is damaging to my company. This is defamation and slander.

I have spoken to support and they have reviewed the documentation and information that verifies my activity and support in this industry.
They have acknowledged the damage this could have on my reputation and my company.
They have advised a few next steps, one of which was to share the information I shared with them here, I am reluctant to do that because once this is all resolved I do not want this all haunting me or my company as it will get indexed by Google, this thread is already indexed.
They advised me to continue here also as one of the steps, and to reach out to my program manager at Google which I have already done, and finally to submit a case to Google legal department which I will do tomorrow.
If anyone from this department reads this, please can you contact me privately.

Everything stated in this thread is correct. Gemini AI is currently defaming me and outright slandering me. None of what it is saying is true - and it is causing extreme harm. No other LLM does this except for Gemini AI.
