I am writing to request support regarding an issue with the Gemini API.
I am currently located in Vietnam. I have been using the Gemini API normally and stably for the past three months without any issues. However, for about one week now, I have been completely unable to use the Gemini API through Google AI Studio. The system consistently returns the error message: “User location is not supported for the API use.”
To troubleshoot this problem, I have tried multiple solutions:

Switching to a US IP address

Using a Windows VPS hosted on Google Cloud in the United States
Despite these attempts, the Gemini API still does not work, and the same location-related error continues to appear.
This issue seems to have started suddenly, without any changes on my side, and it is affecting my existing workflow that previously relied on the Gemini API.
Could you please clarify:

Whether there have been recent changes to regional or location-based restrictions for the Gemini API?

Whether Vietnam (or certain accounts) has been newly restricted?

What steps I can take to restore access to the Gemini API?
