Gemini API project denied access — 403 PERMISSION_DENIED and Billing tier Unavailable

Hello Google AI team,

I am developing MasteryPath, my final-year engineering project.

My Gemini API requests are failing with this error:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED: Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.

In Google AI Studio, my project shows Billing tier: Unavailable.

Details:

  • Project ID: gen-lang-client-05791716..

  • Project settings appear normal.

  • The Generative Language API is enabled and the Cloud Console shows “Manage.”

  • I need Gemini API access to generate programming problems and explanations for my project.

Could you please help me understand why this project has been denied access and advise how I can restore access?
