I consistently get the error: “An internal error occurred”.

The model is also no longer calling tools or accessing the web/internet. Tool calls are not triggered or fail, and web access is unavailable.

Im having the same issue with 3.8 live, like from 10 tests it fails to invoke tools 4 times, thats crazy
