Sometimes i get An internal error or it just constantly Runs without producing anything at all.
Is everyone experiencing the same issue, when trying to continue working on a project already started?

it was working fine for me yesterday in the old UI using 3 pro preview, but with todays latest migration and new model it just does not work. Has there been any official word that they are looking into the issues.
Me? it run for like 884 seconds before still continuing… I’m fed up completely with Google… at least Grok doesn’t do like this… just being honest
It has been over a day since I first encountered this error and it is still not working, even though in their status page it says that all of their systems are operational

Today is the same, i am still experiencing extremely long runs with Gemini 3.1 pro preview in AI Studio when trying to iterate on a project i have been building.
Hopefully this will be addressed soon. I fully expected some teething problems with a full new UI update in addition to a new Model as well.

Its definitely not working. Have been working on a dozen apps for months and now nothing works. Argh\

its frustrating but i am sure it will be sorted soon enough, would be nice to get an official statement that its being looked at.
Yea it seems like an issue, even the gemini chat history is gone.

i managed to get it to work briefly on the mobile app, but still now working on desktop browser.
All Gemini models are down, nothing is working, man, it’s been 4 days and still no solutions.

It is slowly starting to work - i will keep on trying since we don’t get any official announcement.
It suddenly started reading doc and it did edit one file but then looped back.
I have Dev inspec open which shows the model is not currently ready.
codes slowly sorting themselves out?
Not trusting it.

Solution - Switch to Gemini 3 Flash preview it works fine and has the new logic where it goes through all files and does sanity checks, works pretty well tbh.
looking forward to testing with 3.1
I can’t add the secret key. It keeps saying ‘Failed to update secret value’. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yea exacly, hope they fixed that soon, because nothing works well. The 3.1 Pro isnt working. Nextjs template isnt working too. Only works 3.0 Pro with React template….but before it was fast, now it is slow as a hell (5k seconds OMG!)….i think they implemented wrongly new template Nextjs and new model too (new studio design aswell implemented), meaning it was a big update (not just new model)….but its weird, they are big devs and big company…such a mistake OMG
Maybe they are still rolling out the update and its not yet complete on AI Studio, it would be nice to have an official update on the progress.
@Logan_Kilpatrick all i keep on seeing is that its reading files,how long it thought for.
It would be great if it was telling us what files it had read and to maybe see its thought process.
As you can see on the AI Studio status page it says no issues reported.
Screenshot attached is from today 23/02/26 using Gemini 3.1 pro preview, from yesterdays experience when it done the exact same thing it just kept doing this same process and never completed and was just continuing to run for like 20,000+ seconds
