Feedback regarding the new compute-based quota limit on Gemini Advanced

Dear Gemini Team,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the recent change from the fixed prompt limit (100 prompts/day) to the new compute-based quota system on my Gemini Advanced subscription.

Recently, my access was restricted after sending only 5 prompts in a single session. As a paying premium subscriber, this new limitation severely disrupts my daily workflow and makes the subscription feel unviable. While I understand that complex tasks require more server power, hitting a hard limit after just a few interactions feels unreasonable for a paid service.

The previous fixed prompt system provided a predictable and reliable user experience. The current system creates anxiety about quota usage and forces users to constantly open new chats just to save computing power, which defeats the purpose of an advanced AI assistant.

Please consider revising these limits for Gemini Advanced subscribers, increasing the baseline compute quota, or offering a more transparent way to track usage. If the limit remains this restrictive, I will have no choice but to cancel my subscription and switch to alternative services.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards,
[Cerz DInger]

Same. The Gemini AI Pro subscription is near unusable for coding tasks, many of which require the Gemini Pro model. Worse, the limits between the free and paid tiers are so close that without the Gemini Pro model there’s no need for any tier except free.
