failed to update cloud run service: user has exceeded quota. please try again later.
Good evening, everyone. I’m having trouble with the phrase I posted above. I’ve been trying to publish in AI Studio since Monday, but I keep getting this error. What should I do?
Hello @Lucas_Mendes ,
To help us investigate this Cloud Run quota issue, could you share your Project ID, Applet ID, and the approximate timestamp of your failed deployment via direct message? Also, please let us know if you have published multiple apps before, and if so, how many.

Another persistent error is that I’m unable to publish to GitHub; it throws an error, and the issue remains even after cloning the repository.
What can we do in this case?
Hello @Lucas_Mendes ,
Thank you for sharing these details. We are looking into the app publishing issue. Regarding the GitHub sync error you mentioned, could you please try syncing again, and if it still fails, share the exact error message or a screenshot via direct message?
This is the error that persists when trying to push to GitHub.
@Pooja_Kapse
I tried with the original project, and it results in this error.
I created a remix, and it also results in this error.
I disconnected AI Studio from GitHub and logged back in, but it still results in this error.
Good afternoon, same error. “Failed to update Cloud Run service: user has exceeded quota. Please try again later.”
I managed to fix the error. After a lot of research, there are two possible options in this case.
If you have the project synced with GitHub, go to the home screen and import this project from GitHub. AI Studio will bring it into the system and you can go back to using it normally. Once that’s done with the synced project, delete the old project you have. If you choose the option not to publish, it won’t work (I tested it and it didn’t work, it gives the same “Exceeded quota” error); just delete the project and use the copy with the same link that you created.
Option 2: I didn’t use Git and it gives the GitHub error (my case)
Download the code, push it to GitHub, and then repeat the step from Option 1. It will work perfectly.

I managed to fix the error. After some research, it turns out there are two possible solutions.
If you have your project synced with GitHub, go to the home screen and import that project from GitHub. AI Studio will bring it into the system, and you can go back to using it as usual. Once you’ve done this with the synced project, delete the old version. If you choose the “do not publish” option, it won’t work (I tested it, and it results in the same “Exceeded quota” error); you must delete the project and use the copy you created (which will have the same link).
Option 2: If you haven’t set up Git and are encountering a GitHub-related error (which was my case):
Download the code, push it to GitHub, and then follow the steps in Option 1. It will work perfectly.
