Google AI Studio Publish Fails with “User Has Exceeded Quota” — Existing Cloud Run Service
Hello Google AI Studio team,
I’m unable to publish updates to my existing AI Studio app. Publishing fails with this message:
Failed to update Cloud Run service: user has exceeded quota. Please try again later.
Project details
-
Google Cloud project:
nice-nexus-vb34d -
Cloud Run service:
quran-video-studio -
Region:
europe-west1 -
Existing production URL: https://wird-quran.ai.studio
-
Latest active revision:
quran-video-studio-00016-2tf
The existing website is accessible, but recent code changes are not reflected in production because publishing fails. No newer revision has appeared in Cloud Run’s revision history.
I checked the Cloud Run quotas page. The “Number of regions that Cloud Run has been used in” quota shows 1 of 1 (100%). However, the service quota for europe-west1 shows 1 of 2, and the active revisions quota shows 1 of 4. The “Deployment requests using inlined source code per minute” limit shows 0% usage.
The Cloud Run console does not show a newer failed revision corresponding to my latest publishing attempts. Older logs show historical errors from October 8, but they do not establish the cause of the current quota error.
Could you please help identify the exact quota or platform restriction causing the publish failure? Please also clarify whether this is a Starter Tier limitation or an AI Studio deployment issue, and what steps are needed to publish updates without disrupting the existing production URL.
I can provide screenshots of the error and quota pages if needed.
Thank you.
