Failed to load app / Loading your app

Hi everyone,

Dozens of applications and my Google AI Studio dashboard simply crashed completely today.

The entire web interface is stuck on the loading screen (Loading your app) or repeatedly throwing the following backend error:

Error: Server Error. The server encountered an error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds.

I have already performed the standard troubleshooting: cleared cache, tried multiple accounts, different browsers, and different networks (which confirms that the issue is not on my end). External monitoring platforms are already showing a considerable spike in “Server not responding” reports globally, but the official status dashboard remains green.

Since I rely on this to manage systems and maintenance, I am completely blocked. Is anyone else experiencing this right now, or does anyone know if there is an ETA for the AI Studio preview/sandbox clusters to return to normal?

Hi everyone,

All of my applications and the Google AI Studio dashboard have completely crashed right now.

The web interface is entirely stuck on the initial loading screen (Loading your app), or repeatedly throwing this backend server error:

Error: Server Error. The server encountered an error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds.

I have already troubleshot across multiple browsers, cache clearances, accounts, and networks to isolate the issue—it’s definitely not on my end. Independent monitoring tools are spiking with “Server not responding” reports worldwide, yet the official status dashboard still shows everything as operational.

Since I have dozens of applications and ongoing maintenance depending on this platform, I’m completely dead in the water. Is anyone else experiencing this right now, or is there any word on when the AI Studio preview/sandbox clusters will be back online?

Hello @Libbs_IA ,

Can you please try now and let us know if you are still facing this issue? If it persists, please reply with an affected Applet ID, the approximate time of your attempt, a screenshot, and a sanitized HAR file captured with the steps below:

  • Open Google AI Studio in Google Chrome and navigate to the affected app or dashboard.
  • Open Developer Tools by pressing F12 (Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows/Linux, or Cmd+Option+I on Mac) and select the Network tab.
  • Make sure the round Record button in the top-left corner is red, check Preserve log, and click Clear network log.
  • Reload the page or open the app to reproduce the error.
  • Click the Export HAR (sanitized) download icon (or right-click any request in the table and select Copy > Save all listed as HAR (sanitized)) to save the .har file.
