AI Studio stopped working

I cannot access any of the apps I have created in AI Studio at the moment.
This is what I’ve been told:
Recently, a major bug was reported on the Google AI Studio platform related to the mandatory storage migration. Previously, AI Studio saved projects and integrations directly to your Google Drive account. Upon migrating to AI Studio’s own new internal storage system, many users have started experiencing errors such as “Failed to initialize applet” or “Failed to load app”, causing applications and previews to go blank or not open.

seeing “Failed to initialize applet” and/o “Failed to load app”on one of my apps today

And what do we do? How do we work with the apps we’ve created that contain vital information for our business if we can’t access them? Messrs. Google, what do we do?

Been freaking out all morning thinking my source code was broken from when I ran out of AI Studio Limits yesterday. Ive been trying everything. I remixed the app and extracted the source code into a .zip file and was gonna put that in GitHub and try to figure out how to use Anti-Gravity or Codex 5.6 to figure out whats broken, but it looks like its a Google backend problem if y’all are having the same problem. Really sucks. I was on a roll last night busting out new features on my app…:face_with_steam_from_nose:

AI Studio is completely bugged out
The worst part is I thought it was the CSS, motion, and other effects in one of my projects, so I deleted everything

Then I tested it on another app I created and got the same error.

Tested it on a clean browser, same error.

Then I realized it was actually a widespread bug with AI Studio itself.

Worst of all, it’s been like this for over 6 hours and it’s still not back.

Dear god… That … you deleted everything. I was about to start trying some crazy stuff too to get it working. I guess it was the Migration from where our apps were stored in our Google Drive to their own servers is whats causing the problem right now. Ive spent weeks on my app, and I am freaking out too.

It worked for me…

I can click and view the “Code” tab in all projects.

That’s great! This means your work and prompt engineering logic are 100% saved on Google’s servers. The issue is just a UI glitch (in the graphical interface that renders the testing app).

To fix this and get your five projects up and running right now, follow the step-by-step guide below:

1. Direct Remix (Fastest Solution)

Since the code is accessible, the quickest way to unlink your project from the old, corrupted database is by cloning it:

  • Open one of the affected projects and click on the Code tab.

  • Look at the top right corner of the screen and click the Remix button.

  • Google AI Studio will create an identical copy of this project, forcing it to save on the new, updated infrastructure.

  • In most cases, this new copy will open the app immediately in the Preview tab.

Hi all

This issue should be now resolved, are you still experiencing this ?

My app isn’t working. I keep getting the errors “There was an unexpected error. Finish what you were doing.”, “Failed to load app”, and “An internal error occurred”. I’m in Brazil.

I am also in Brazil and the same error is happening here
