Sorry to ask, and with all due respect, but Google, are you even testing your own apps? I built new apps to check whether the problem was something I had done, and they failed to load. I also remixed an existing app to see if I could get it to publish. AI search tools tell me these are known issues, yet we’re seeing no progress and are wasting time just trying to get the basics, which used to work, working again.
Please can someone from the team do what we do build something, and publish it to ensure things work. I guess you can even use automation to get this done daily.

Same issue here. It’s been 14+ hours and I still can’t publish. My app compiles successfully every time (“Build succeeded”), and I’ve confirmed via git log and git diff that my commits are landing correctly in the repo. But the published URL (ais-pre-.run.app) stays completely frozen — I checked the HTTP headers directly and the “last-modified” timestamp hasn’t changed at all despite multiple Publish/Republish attempts over many hours. Meanwhile the dev environment (ais-dev-.run.app) correctly serves the updated code. This looks like the publish pipeline is failing to sync the latest commit to Cloud Run, not a problem with my code or build. Any updates from the team would be appreciated — this is blocking a real launch for my app.
I opened GCP and enabled AI assistant (nice to see this) and it gave me this which did not work. I then makde smalle code change, sent to GitHub (not relvent I think), unpublish the App and publish it again and it seems to work. Sharing the chat here to see if it helps others. Hi @Payal_Sharma2 here are some screen shots.
Have you tried to recreate it as it is not too hard?
- Build a new app (anything)
- Publish it with your own URL
- Make a change
- Publish again
… repeat a couple of time like you would in normal life and you will hit the same issue.
I have creates close to 200 apps over the past 6 months and this was not a problem always, but I am not sure when it started, maybe the past 2 months.
@Payal_Sharma2 any updates. I see news things in AI studio but this is not fixed. This is affecting business please treat as urgent.
If needed and our time zones make sense I’m even willing to spend 30 minutes on a video call together to try and help resolve this that’s how desperate I’m getting. @Payal_Sharma2
