After I accepted the mandatory migration of Google AI Studio (from GDrive to only Google AI Studio) my apps dont even load. I cant send any prompt (any prompt just dosent respond). I got the error “Failed to initialize applet.”. What is going on?
Huge bug I think. Google are having a nightmare with their rate issues and this.
Why they dont even make an official note about this HUGE bug… How such a big company like Google make tremendous mistake in this update like this… cant handle AI Studio anymore

They removed imagen 4.0 generate preview and ultra preview. This may be why the preview button doesn’t work
I cant send ANY prompt. This requires this module too?

Disastrous update, seriously my apps stopped working, none of them load, not even the chat works.It’s serious and astonishing that Google still hasn’t fixed this bug
Another bug to add to the list: Model API stopped working.
You can’t even send the project’s zip file. Honestly, this is going to snowball.

I thought I was the only one! When building our Support Center platform, loading times get so long the app sometimes stops and shows a blank screen, and some apps disappear or don’t display properly. My published apps still work, so it seems specific to editing or creating projects.

Everything’s down, not even the chat works, zip import doesn’t work, apps are frozen, even the ones I created aren’t working.
Even the chat doesn’t work, you can’t create anything.

I opened several projects but they stuck, my chat disappeared, the loading button kept not stopping.. The AI Studio update caused the crash.

I am fully committed to the Gemini API; this was a bug-ridden update.Seriously, this bug has been going on for over 3 hours and nothing has been fixed.

It’s not loading anything, even if you import the zip files. Seriously, how could Google leave such a huge hole?

Yeah, it’s crazy how they rolled out such a raw update. The chat history is gone also. None of the gemini models are working, I tried all of them.

The API completely crashed, seriously, if I didn’t have backups of my applications afterwards I would be very angry about that.Everything went down, apps were being deleted after accepting the terms.

For me things seem to be partially working, apps load but my prompt history is missing and when I try to prompt it just spins for ever and ever. This even happens when I log in using incognito with a new account, suggesting that AI studio as a whole may not be working for some portion of users right now (even aside from migrated users).
I had to restore from drive trash but loading now isn’t a thing and a prompt? How dare I ask.

Looks like they didn’t finish their upgrade properly and just turned off the chat functionality, cause it doesn’t work for anyone. Who rolls out like that?
To sum it up:
Chat is not working
Chat history is gone
The clear chat button is gone
The save app button is gone
The download zip button is gone
In the settings, it doesn’t show anymore, in which architecture you’re currently coding in.
Some files were automatically deleted after the migration, for example, the Vite config file. I didn’t need it anyway, but I couldn’t delete it in the past, so I just emptied it. Maybe AI Studio somehow understood that I was coding in Next.js and migrated me and got rid of the Vite file for me? don’t know. hard to understand.
Other stuff seems to be working, GitHub connects.
None of my apps are loading either. It has been that way all day. I thought it was something with my browser or cache - I’m glad to at least have found this thread.
