Hello,
Since around last Wendesday, any time I put a prompt into Google AI Studio I get “Failed to generate content: permission denied” and “an internal error has occurred.” This occurs only when using AI Studio on a browser, specifically Microsoft Edge and Brave. It generally works when using iOS. I’ve tried 3.5 Flash, 3 Flash, 3.1 Pro, and 2.5 Pro. Clearing cache is not the problem; I’ve used it on two different computers on two different networks. Signing out and back in to my account does not fix the problem. I waited 48 hours to see if it was some kind of false positive security issue on my account that would go away, but no luck. Essentially every single solution I’ve tried from prior threads has completely failed. Is this a widespread issue or is it just me? Since I can still use it in Safari I assume my account was not locked or banned in some fashion.
Before support asks me “can you give us more on the situation?” this is all I have. It occurs on every single prompt, even if the prompt is simply “hello” with no attachments. Everything is fine in the Google Cloud console, but creating projects through AI Studio does not work any better than creating prompts.
Please tell me if this issue is widespread, or whether it could be something with my account–and if so, how to fix it.
