Hi, I had an older post about this issue, but now that I looked over it, I didn’t explain better (most likely because I was super annoyed at the time)
These are the ai settings I use, I didn’t change anything (as far as I remember or might have changed a long time ago and forgot):
Temperature - 1
Media Resolution - defualt
Thinking level - high (have that at that since forever)
Tools:
Structured outputs - disabled (at least the slider is on the left side)
Code Execution - disabled
Function calling - disabled
Grounding with Google search - disabled
Grounding with Google Maps - disabled
URL context - disabled
In Disabled that the slider is on the left side.
Advanced Settings:
all disabled in safety settings.
add stop sequence - nothing in it
output length 65536
Top P - 0.95
My Experience:
Problem: Whenever I tell Google AI studio (am using Gemini 3 Flash Preview) to do something, be it to code or update the code or anything different (I mainly use this AI to do some personal fun projects via coding). I get an error saying:
“Failed to generate content: permission denied. Please try again.”
How I try to solve it at the moment: I hard refresh the page by “shift + f5”. after doing so, sometimes the last messages get lost.
Percipitating event: I DO NOT know if this has any connection with this error or not, but I deleted the ai folder (Google AI Studio folder) in my google drive to clear all my history with it. I just checked and a new folder is in my drive.
This error is getting really, really annoying because sometimes I get it a few times in a row and sometimes after a few replies.
