Exceeded Project, but I never created Project in Google AI Gemini

I am trying to create a new key in a new project in Google Gemini AI. but I got error

code: 8
message: "The project cannot be created because you have exceeded your allotted project quota."

Though I never created any project in gemini AI. What I checked is, it’s redirect me to the firebase, and I already deleted my project there.

But, right now it needs 30 days in firebase to deleted it completly. Please, is there any free way to access the API key, cause I am now joining the competition to use this AI.

A project is automatically created for you if you don’t create a key in an existing project. So it is possible to exceed the project limit.

You should be able to go to the Google Cloud Console and restore a deleted project and then use that project for your API Key.
