Every time I attempt to generate a unique API key, I keep getting this error message:
Failed to create project, The request is suspicious. Please try again.
I have no idea what the issue is, considering I made one key successfully, but now I am no longer allowed to.

The error suggest that you don’t have project created.. Can you double check if you are creating the API key within the same project that you already have?
Same problem. In the Google AI Studio, all my projects and APIs disappeared. When I try to create new project, it shows failed
I get the message

I have 4 projects but no keys for them 
Did you resolve the issue? I have the same issue.

Today I encountered the same problem just before. I suggest you to switch a different SE and try again. That’s how I finally solved this issue just now.

I have the same issue. This is very annoying. I am paying for this service and this thing does not let me create one API key.
Google, please do something because this is rubbish.
