The “Enable logging” toggle in Google AI Studio is permanently
unclickable for my project (Tier 3).
It renders as a static icon, not an interactive switch.
This has persisted for 2+ weeks.

- Cloud Logging API
- Generative Language API (active traffic ~4600 req/day)
- AI Platform Training & Prediction API (just enabled)
- Billing account linked
- IAM Owner + Editor
- Org Policy not blocking
- Data Access Audit Logs enabled
Cloud Assist diagnosed: “AI Platform Training & Prediction API
was disabled” — fixed, but toggle still not working.
Opened Issue Tracker #496266448, closed as “Won’t Fix
(Infeasible)” and redirected here.
Suspected root cause: the project has an unusual future
creation timestamp “2025-07-11T12:55:36Z” and a legacy
numeric ID format, suggesting a migration anomaly that
prevents the logging feature from being enabled.
