Eligibility check failed despite active AI Pro with US payments profile - country association stuck at China, appeal rejected as insufficient evidence

Subscription: Google AI Pro (active, paid, billed under US payments profile)

CLI: Antigravity CLI v1.1.27 (Windows x64)

Network egress: US (San Jose) - verified via ipinfo

Error: “Eligibility check failed: Your current account is not eligible for Antigravity, because it is not currently available in your location”

Evidence:

  • My Google payments profile legal address is Portland, USA; the AI Pro subscription is billed under this US profile.
    • The Gemini web app works with full Pro features on this account.
      • The account’s country association shows “China” (the account was registered before I moved my billing to the US). I submitted a country association change request; it was rejected citing “insufficient evidence”.
        • Direct API check: loadCodeAssist returns only standard-tier; the consumer tier was never provisioned for this account.
      • Request: could the team please review the country association or manually provision the Antigravity consumer tier for this paid account? Happy to provide any additional account identifiers needed.

Hi @sun_sonny,

Could you please follow these steps:

  • Re-Appeal Country Association with Direct Proof of Residence:

    • Visit Google Country Association.
    • Submit an appeal providing government-issued US identification (e.g., US State ID/Driver’s License, US utility bill, or US bank statement) matching your Portland address to resolve the “insufficient evidence” rejection.
  • Dedicated US Developer Account (Fastest Native Route):\

    • Create a dedicated Google Account registered directly within the US.
    • If you have Google One Family Sharing enabled on your AI Pro plan, you can share the subscription quota to the new US profile.
