go from preview to code if you see any files with name in red if you have it wont let you sync, delete those files and it will work.
at least that was my issue.

i have a file in red like this but its a database for firebase. if i delete it, it comes back and my site doesnt work without it anyway. Not sure if thats the issue, but it wasnt red before
you need to delete and save the project (do ctrl + S) and see if it comes back, in my case i deleted red files and fixed.
Still the same, not even a red file in my project so I don’t know what to delete.
Okay I put .git in the .gitignore file and it worked, now I can push lol.
