Critical Bug: White Screen + Session Reset After Allowing Terminal Command

Dear Antigravity Support Team,

I am reporting a critical bug that makes Antigravity IDE completely unusable for me.

When I give a prompt and the agent asks for permission to run a terminal command, I click Allow. Immediately after, the entire screen turns white and the current conversation resets. starting a new session. All progress in that conversation is lost.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open Antigravity 2.1.4

Give any prompt that triggers a terminal command

Click “Allow” when the permission dialog appears

The screen turns white and session resets

Additional Context:

I also see an “Authenticating…” warning with a yellow triangle before the issue occurs

This happens consistently every time I allow a command

My OS: Windows

This makes the tool completely non-functional for any agentic task

I have attached screenshots showing the authentication warning and the white screen state.

Please prioritize this fix as it blocks core functionality.

Please update your Antigravity IDE to version 2.1.1 (released June 22, 2026), which includes patches to increase system resilience against unresponsive MCP servers.

  • To regain stability and restart the IDE
  • Disable all active MCP configurations by navigating to the “…” menu in the Agent panel, selecting “MCP Servers > Manage MCP Servers,” and disabling all tools.
  • Open the command palette (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + P), run “Developer: Reload Window” to refresh the local cache and clear the corrupted visual state.

If crashes persist after disabling tools and updating, please use the in-app “Report Issue” option to package and send system crash logs directly to the engineering team for investigation.

Thank you for your suggestions.

I have already updated to the latest version (2.1.1) and disabled all MCP servers. Unfortunately, the issue still persists.

I also tried creating completely new projects, reinstalling the application, clearing the cache, and testing with a fresh workspace, but the white screen issue still occurs and the app automatically redirects me to a new conversation.

Additionally, I could not find the “Developer: Reload Window” command in the Command Palette.

If there are any crash logs, diagnostic logs, or another troubleshooting method I can provide, I’d be happy to share them to help identify the root cause.
