I have been using the Antigravity IDE for about two months. Since the beginning, I have encountered a persistent issue, specifically when using the Claude model agent.
Typically, after a long conversation or a period of inactivity, the agent fails with the following message:
Agent terminated due to error
You can prompt the model to try again or start a new conversation if the error persists. See our troubleshooting guide for more help.
Previously, I could resolve this simply by re-prompting the model. However, the behavior has changed. After leaving the agent inactive for a day, the error has become permanent. Re-prompting no longer works.
I’ve noticed similar reports from other users suggesting this is a global issue affecting non-Gemini models. Unfortunately, it seems the issue has not been patched and has actually deteriorated to the point where the agent is unusable.
Impact: I cannot simply start a new conversation to bypass this. Doing so resets my artifacts because the “brain directory” changes, causing me to lose critical context.
Has anyone found a fix for this, or is there an update on a patch?
