Competition Rules

Hello, I have a couple of Questions

  1. I didn’t add the Competition’s hashtag in my Youtube title will it affect my submission?
  2. How the People’s choice work?

Thank you

  1. No.
  2. Google will put up our videos to get votes on the Gemini competition website. Whoever wins most votes, wins a trophy :trophy:. Nothing more was said about it. It’s just a popularity contest so if you want to win it badly, get all your internet friends ready to vote on August 26/27.

Thank you, now what If i wanted to add some upgrades to my code and mobile app will I be disqualified?

Keep building.

Just do not update the code on Google Drive if you submitted a Google Drive link.

If you submitted a GitHub link, keep building. Judges will only see your code revision as of the deadline date.

Is this confirmed? I created a duplicate repo to continue working :smiling_face_with_tear:

I mean… git is called VERSION CONTROL
You can literally see the dates of the Commits(changes) - sooo there shouldnt be any problem with that?
would be kinda harsh to not allow that, especially when a Application will probably used further.
I commited my Public Repo and later updated changes there too, like maybe one day someone wanna clone it soo… why should I keep it outdated?

@luluthepooh hello, i built my app using Flutterflow and hence I did not update the default Readme file . Is it a big issue. Default Readme only reads " Flutterflow apps are built to run on Flutter Stable release" that’s it … will it be a issue, please let me know I am worried .

Hi, the rules didn’t mention anything about this. It’s not an issue.

Hi, @Green_Neurons

Supposedly @luluthepooh is not a Google employee

So, a good final check would be to get a reply or answer from @Lloyd_Hightower, a Googler who answers in this community.
