Hi, I have been using AI Studio and I get massive lags when the chats gets long. I am tired of starting new chats every time. I also have been using it on my android phone and it takes around 1 minute to respond, is there a way to fix that? I know that on pc you can enable overlay scrollbars, but I am asking is there a fix for android specifically?

I have the same problem.
Really now I see that I’m getting old. In 1985 it took 10 minutes to classify data in Cobol on a TRS 80… you are not happy to take 1 minute to scan all the knowledge contained on the internet. Very good.
It actually doesn’t take a minute to scan all the knowlage of the internet. I didn’t make a request anything that would requie a search and it answers very quickly when the chat is new
From my experience, it gets really slow after 60k tokens and is very bad after using up +120k tokens . Even if it something basic, if you give it too much code it cannot keep up. When integrating the API with Cline , It gets exhausted after 32kb which I assume is about 30k tokens. My issue is that it has a million tokens available but cannot keep up, especially with a lot of code. My suggestion is summarizing where you left off really well and start a new chat.
This happens for me, and it’s really annoying.

Had this issue after around 60k tokens before the UI update. Now it seems to straight up become unusable after like 10k tokens. I also suspect that it becomes laggy faster if you’ve uploaded any files instead of just having text only tokens.
