IAM access, project shutdown, and even Google Cloud support requests are blocked by permission errors.
I cannot find the associated project in AI Studio under either of my Google accounts.
Please escalate this to the managing team and explain the supported procedure to delete this project or unlink it from my account. I do not want to upgrade or change my personal billing accounts.
Hi @bhdrb57, Google AI Studio starter projects do not count against your personal Google Cloud project creation quota and do not incur any charges. Because this project was provisioned under a Google-managed folder hierarchy, project deletion permissions are restricted to the managing system. Leaving an unused starter project in place is completely safe and does not consume your personal project quota slots.
To help us assist you, could you clarify if having this project listed is causing a specific blocker in your workflow? If your main concern was quota limits or unexpected costs, you can safely leave the project as-is.
