To the Google team (if any actual humans are still reading these),
I am officially canceling my €250 Ultra subscription. There is no going back. This is the third time Google has actively downgraded my experience after I paid for a premium tier, and frankly, the bait-and-switch tactics are a disgrace.
1. Stealth Limit Slashes & The Claude Model Bait-and-Switch I originally upgraded to Ultra because you silently nerfed the Pro limits. Now, you’ve done the exact same thing to Ultra without a single warning or announcement. Previously, I could use the Claude models continuously for my work. Today? Sending just TWO messages burns through 40% of my quota. Waking up to find my limits slashed to less than half of what I paid for is completely unacceptable.
2. Antigravity IDE is a Broken Mess (Arch Linux, Windows some issues too) Instead of fixing actual problems, development time is wasted on GUI updates nobody asked for, which just introduce game-breaking bugs. On Arch Linux, the IDE is currently unusable:
-
Cursor Hijacking: When the agent is processing, it violently forces my cursor away. I am literally locked out of clicking anything in my own workspace.
-
Auto-Scrolling: The Agent Window constantly forces the scroll back to the top, making reading or typing impossible. I even switched Window Managers to rule out local rendering issues. It didn’t fix a thing. The IDE is fundamentally broken on your end.
3. Ignored Community and Copy-Paste Moderation The backlash in this community regarding these issues is huge, yet all we get from Google Moderators are insulting copy-paste template responses. It is blatantly obvious that nobody at Google is actually reading our complaints, and absolutely no one is implementing the highly upvoted suggestions from the community. Instead, you build useless features nobody needs while the core product degrades.
I am done paying €250 to be ignored and downgraded. I am taking my money elsewhere.
