[Bug?/Policy?] It seems like a policy, not a bug. I am disappointed and seriously considering leaving

I am curious about how Google allocates quotas.

So I conducted tests, but I cannot figure it out.

I took screenshots at specific times and saved them with file names.

It appears there have been many changes between yesterday and today.

I learned from a user post that they announced the lifting of quota restrictions.

To adequately test usage, I always kept my usage above 60% and waited for 5 hours.

Last time, I waited 5 hours at 80%, and it recovered to 100% while the timer reached 5 hours. Just now, I maintained 60% and let 5 hours pass.

I used the 3.1 model twice. There was also a simple modification where usage did not drop below 100%.

There were two instances of usage within approximately 20 minutes.

Upon checking just now, the quota has decreased to 20%, and the time has reached 5 days and 1 hour.

In other words, it appears that a maximum of 60–90% of the given quota was used twice.

The remaining quota bar indicates that 100% is equivalent to one week’s worth.

What I do not fully understand is that in the previous instance, not this time, the quota was maintained at 80%, and then restored to 100% after spending 5 hours.

I am not sure of the exact method, but it seems correct that the quota bar represents one week’s worth of capacity.

However, the hopeful aspect is that I can feel an increase in Flash usage.

The major problem is that the performance of the Jaminai Flash is poor.

It has the disadvantage of consuming quota quickly due to errors and repeated modifications.

Hi @starsound ,

To provide you with greater control and a seamless path to scale, we are evolving our Google AI plans by introducing built-in AI credits that can now be utilized directly within Antigravity. Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models. For developers operating at the highest scale who require consistent, high-volume access to our most complex models, Google AI Ultra serves as the ideal comprehensive solution.

Furthermore, we’ve designed these plans with maximum flexibility in mind; if you are on the Pro plan and require additional capacity or deeper premium access for intensive development sprints, you can seamlessly top up your AI credits to customize your limits and continue shipping your best work without interruption

Hi @Mrinal_Ghosh What a bullshit
Google allows itself to change game’s rules on the fly. The antigravity is the most bugged VS fork ever. The generous limits was the only reason to use it. But now you make the qoutas ridiculously low! Well, I’d better pay to Claude, bye-bye

Your and others experience suggests inconsistency in Google’s application of policy. Perhaps they’re “rolling-out” this new policy and it’s not reached you yet? I, too, seemed to have access to the premium models longer than some, until I didn’t.

The gap between Pro and Ultra is, in my opinion, a problem for your users.

750 baht/month for Pro
9400 baht/month for Ultra

Can we get something in-between?? I think having that huge gap is a risk for Google. I cannot afford the Ultra but need more than the Pro .. your pricing models is forcing me to look for alternatives or suppliments (which might become alternatives).

Thanks .. James

But whats the point in paying for something in-between? They keep changing the quota limit without us even making any new queries. So you have a limit that it clearly says it will refresh on the 20th, and you simply wait until then, but when the 20th comes they have changed the date it will refresh to the 25th. What Google are doing is simply not ok, so we should not be asking for new plans, we should demand that they keep their word on the existing plans

I mean a subscription level in-between Pro and Ultra. There is a HUGE gap between those two from a price perspective. Perhaps $50/month for a Premium level? Ala carte level that will let me get Gemini Pro and Flash and and skip Claude? Right now there are only three levels: a) Free (Useless), b) Pro (Irritating), and c) Ultra (silly priced for many)

I live and work in SE Asia … many seasoned developers her make less that $4000/month. Graduates and people just starting out make less than $2000/month. We live well on this salary here .. but it does not permit us an Ultra subscription

I get what you mean, but there is still no point in paying for a middle option as Google keep changing the terms and they even extend our refresh dates without us making a single prompt. Would you want to see that your refresh date is on the 23rd and then you wait until then just to see that its been extended to the 28th, and this you want to pay more for? Thats what I dont get
