Antigravity Ultra Quota now feels like free tier... Bug?

I’ve been subscribed to ultra for 2 months and just in the last week or two I’ve noticed a sharp decline in the number of requests I can send before I hit my 5 hour quota.

But today I suddenly have an almost 2 day wait for my Claude quotas!

I’m about to cancel my subscription as it’s just not realistic to pay 400 per month and get 4-5 messages before waiting to refresh

You’re not the only one experiencing this. Tons of posts are talking about this frustration. Development must continue. I already cancelled my ULTRA subscription and moved to Claude Code’s Max subscription. Honestly, until things get resolved, I’d suggest changing services as soon as possible and don’t hold your breath.

Yes, I am seeing the same. Paying 139 Euro a month and was getting a good 4 hours of solid work done and now I am barely getting an hour and half. What is going on. the refresh as well varies and the usage is just completely non transparent. You are not imagining it. Is this really worth 5 times the price?

I also canceled my subscription and switched to Claude Max. The unpredictability of a tool is more destructive than the tool being difficult to use itself. I’ve had enough of Google’s black box quotas and canned responses.

Claude Max - I would move but I need an IDE and other tools. can it be used in VSCode and achieve the same thing?

Yes, a huge part of the frustration is that their reply as well. Generic and irrelevant. Feels bot generated as well.

yes it can, Antigravity is fork of VS code. You can get same experiencie with VS + Claude

There is a Claude extension in VSCode that works quite well. Regarding the browser agent features in Antigravity, there is now something called Claude Code with Chrome, not to mention a new feature similar to OpenClaw that can control your entire computer.

and is Claude Max rate limited as well? Sorry for stupid question but like all of you going to the source and experience and trying to do my day job like you guys. Any help appreciated

.

To be honest, bot generated is better than theirs. At least a robot wouldn’t tell you to upgrade from Pro to Ultra in a thread entirely dedicated to discussing the Ultra plan. :joy:

There are limits, but I think they are quite generous. At least I used it for a whole night without being restricted. btw, I’m currently using the max 20x plan. I used to use the 5x plan, the 5x plan hit the limits more easily, but it still much more powerful than the current ultra

thanks @h4ku I’ll check it out. I just recommended AntiG to a friend and saying how the limits where so good and 2 days later..

Not even an hours work. just some scoping work and about 15 mins of coding! Something is definitely wrong here..

Plus the Yellow bar says 20% left, but you get the quota warning..

Same here. got 39 mins. was like 60% some scoping and creating a reporting page with a clear set of instructions, memory MCP and Strategic thinking MCP and zip.. gone.

I actually was running Claude cowork for a different project for nearly 2 hours on the standard plan and got more work done than on AntiGravity. Con..

And look, not a single response from anyone in Google anymore. all quite. move on, nothing to see here.

And I said I would give Gemini a go when Opus credits ran out to do some simple documentation.. I killed it within 1 min. it was like a lobotomized stoned engineer .. I mean, how can Google stand over it. its like an over enthusiastic 6 week old puppy..

Prioritizing Specialized Tools

“I’m now prioritizing specialized tools for file manipulation, particularly avoiding cat for creation/append, favoring grep_search over standard grep, and avoiding ls, cat, grep, and sed in bash commands when specific tools exist. This is a crucial shift towards efficiency.” .. Yikes..

I get about 20 minutes of work done on Claude Opus before running out of quota (Ultra subscription). Then I can do about 2 hours on Gemini Pro (a much inferior model, that makes mistakes, and delivers sub-par plans). Then… I can either use Flash or stop my work for 4 hours.
