I am experiencing a persistent issue connecting Google AI Studio to GitHub. I cannot sync my work or create repositories, regardless of the method I use.
The Issue:
Every time I attempt to connect to GitHub, the process fails with the specific error:
*“Something went wrong, please login in and again.”*
Steps to Reproduce (What I Tried):
I have attempted to connect in two different ways, and both fail with the same error:
-
Manual Repo: I manually created a repository on GitHub first, then tried to link AI Studio to it.
-
Auto-Creation: I tried letting AI Studio create the new repository directly during the sync process.
Troubleshooting Already Attempted:
-
Accounts: I tried this with multiple different Google accounts.
-
Devices: I tested on different devices to rule out local browser/cache issues.
-
Re-login: I have logged out and back in multiple times as the error suggests, but it results in a loop.
Observed Behavior:
The authentication handshake seems to fail immediately, preventing any file upload or version control. Since this happens across multiple accounts and devices, it appears to be a platform-side bug.
Has anyone found a workaround to break this login loop?
