I’ve received 350$ free credits to use in the API, recently I’ve started to use more gemini 2.5 flash, but I keep running on the daily limit of Tier 1. I’ve spent $300 in free credits and I’ve added 250$ credits on my own, my first payment was more than a month ago and I still don’t see an upgrade button in AI Studio to go to Tier 2. Is anyone else having issues with tier upgrade?

same issue! cannot upgrade my accounts because the spend is in GCP credits. This makes the gemini 2.5 unusable in my app because of the rate limits!

Our company is facing the same issue. So, we switched our API call method to VertexAI.
Although this change increased the limits to some extent, VertexAI also has restrictions.
These limitations are difficult to confirm clearly in any official documentation.
Even when using credits, it seems difficult to be upgraded to Tier 2 since the actual billing amount does not exceed the threshold.
I would also like to hear a response from Google, so I’ll wait.
