Apps dont even load after mandatory migration

Everything is bugged, the chat is editing the files after you grant permission, deleting everything in the application’s code after the edits and displaying “Permission denied”.Seriously, I don’t know how Google releases an update like this and hasn’t fixed it yet; it’s disastrous.

Look what happens even when trying to create something like a chat; look at the bug it’s causing.

Of all the Google AI Studio updates, This update is turning into a disaster.

Let’s be honest, it’s a real disaster. Even the app download is corrupted; my app is 1MB and it’s only showing up as 9KB after downloading and resending.The system itself failed in the downloaded file after this disaster.

I’m facing more or less the same issue. I started to build a new app and it ran for 4 hours straight without giving a single code at all. This switch from drive to ai studio definitely has got some issues on their end because the AI Studio status says currently down according to this link: Google AI Studio

The daily reset did not resolve the issue… we will need to be even more patient. :confused:

Edit: I see on certain networks that some people can use it without any apparent problems. Is this due to regional restrictions at the moment?

I’m on the same situation. Still not working even though on their status page they mention it’s resolved.

At least you can access Google AI Studio (statut page). It keeps redirecting me to https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/available-regions?authuser=1 even though I’m in an accepted region…

I managed to get a preview again by manually adding a standard tsconfig.node.json file to the root directory. Seems like it hasn’t been set up properly in the first place and now throws an error after the update. AI still not working though.

It seems that release 3.1 gives accept to application back.

At least for myself.

But prompting still fails.

Same here. The frustrating thing is I finally resolved an issue that I was struggling with in editing but I never got the chance to save or download the updated version plus there’s no history of conversations.

I’m stunned that Google did not do something as basic as setup a staging area or sandbox before throwing spaghetti at the walls. Just astonishing.

Confirming the deletion of the app from Google drive fails every time. This renders the sandbox useless as every prompt initiates the same modal regarding deleting the copy from G drive.
