Anyone else having severe bugs/suspicious results with their billing?

I can’t say this is 100% native AI Studio, since we also use API keys, but the billing numbers just make no sense whatsoever. There’s barely any details about what actions ended with what costs; it seems to mostly be lumped into models. We need transparency in billing. It seems like hallucinating AI are responsible for calculating the billing, rather than a “tried-and-true” hard-coded algorithm.

Our report says I had a peak of ~250k TPM this month! Umm…HOW?! I generally use about that much per day, not per minute! I can’t even imagine how a single user could even submit that much in one minute.

I noticed a massive billing day last week of almost $60 in a single day, with zero explanation of how it came to that conclusion. This was after I’d already put in billing alerts, yet the caps were gone when I went back to look; this suggests, when they updated the caps, they reset the account rather than merging the settings!

Sometimes, I’ve noticed a model start to hallucinate and go into a runaway loop. My guess is I’m being billed for hitting bugs in the AI Studio software, rather than getting billed for actual usage. There really needs to be a way to file bug reports and contest billing for individual responses/turns, even after you’ve already replied (not only a thumbs down if you haven’t replied).

I could for hours. Anyone else have suspicious billing? This is a serious issue!
