Recently, I started getting an error in Google AI Studio that I didn’t use to get before. It said Quota Exceeded. I tried using a paid API key, and I still got the same error. When my free uses returned, it worked just fine, but after they ran out, I continued to get the quota exceeded error even though I had a paid key activated! After 24 hours, I checked my billing, and it went from 0.59 euros to 1.65 euros. Mind you, those 1.65 euros were literally 0 new additions and around 20 retries that gave me the same “Quota exceeded” message. It’s not a lot of money, but it increased nearly 200% even though I didn’t get to use a single paid prompt and only got errors.
