Antigravity trigger Model quota limit weekly cooldown after version update

Antigravity new updates 1.15.6 caused incorrectly enforces “model quota exceeded” immediately after quota reset. Did any experienced similar issue? any fixes suggestions?

Plan: Google AI Pro
OS: macOS (timezone +08:00)
App version: Antigravity 1.15.6 (Jan 23, 2026)

Timeline:
21 Jan 2026: hit weekly quota for non-Google models → locked out until 23 Jan ~midday
23 Jan 2026 ~midday: quota indicator reset
23 Jan 2026 late night: updated triggered to 1.15.6 → after restart the app, it immediately shows “Model quota limit exceeded” for all non-Google models with resume date 30/01/2026 17:48:19

I have already tried these and nothing worked:

  • Sign out/in
  • reinstall the app
  • downgrade to older verstion
  • Full local state wipe:
rm -rf ~/Library/Saved\ Application\ State/com.google.antigravity.savedState
rm -rf ~/Library/Logs/Antigravity
rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/Antigravity
rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Antigravity

Its seems alot of users are experiencing this…

I also read in other threads here users reporting the “Model encountered some error” (paraphrased) and maybe that was eating the quota?

We had the same experience yesterday.

Yes, it appears after updating to a new version.

I also tried every possible scenario, but it appears to be at a limit. Before this update, the quota was reset after 5 hours, but now it says after 3 days, 27/1/2026.

OAuth issue in IDE. Check output→antigravity and you will see the logs. Also under window you can see it fails to load extensions in proper order.

They just released a version, but it doesn’t seem to include the fix.

Yeah. So… I don’t think they have the right information yet to properly investigate the issue. I think it will take a couple of days.

My problem is if I manually upload a video then it crashes the chat with an internal error no matter how much or how few I have used then the next message always gives me a quota limit even if it’s a 1 minute video for example. I think the problem may be the upload button is causing a false flag.

Same issue. I thought they were reducing the useable so they can get us to upgrade or use their model which is terrible for coding. Anita gravity is useless without Claude code.

I’m a Gemini pro user and locked out of Claude for a week. Maybe I have the pro account with the wrong company.

If anyone find the solution to this issue, that would be great. On Pro Plan but I got weekly rate-limited as well

It just reset from a one week waiting. I just prompted one thing and it already triggered the limit

I’m just kidding, I actually love writing code.

Thanks for sharing. A least we are at a point that is better then chat support’s response “just wait it out until quota resets”
