Antigravity IDE saving more than 60gb of "browser_recordings" of jpg files and is continuing to grow

Antigravity keeps saving files into browser_recordings and now it’s over 300k of .jpg images. I couldn’t get the conversation history of that specific part or prompt that caused the bug because the box chat grew too large and it says “The server cleared a prefix of the conversation as it grew too large.”.

If i remember correctly, at that moment antigravity tried to open chrome and read the wiki, but then it asks me for permission to open a link or read/perform action on the page (i don’t remember what it tried to do), but i never clicked ‘Allow’ in the IDE and opened the Google Chrome browser.

My chrome version is Version 151.0.7922.170 (Official Build) (arm64) - on macOS 27.0 Beta (26A5416b)

At this moment the chrome tab that antigravity was using is showing an overlay that says "Agent needs your input" with 2 buttons, one of it is a red stop button, so i straight up just clicked the big red STOP button (the time I pressed the stop button was at 22 August 2026 at 16:35), and never cared about it and continued with the conversation normally (without using the browser again).

At that moment in the conversation history it shows something related to the agent stopped executing, or terminated, but I just kept pushing new prompts and didn’t care. Then I left the computer idling overnight after work.

The next day (today, at Sunday, 23 August 2026 at 20:02), on the status bar of my screen I noticed the SSD was 99% full, like only 2.5gb of storage left, so i had to investigate and found out this browser_recordings folder that has over 300k of .jpg files in it. Deleting it seems to take forever, because for some reason it only process 3 files / seconds that means it would take 33,7 hours to delete all of them…

By the way, closing the Antigravity window related to that conversation does not make it stop saving more jpg files, i still have antigravity open for other projects. I still keep that one Chrome tab running though, it’s still saving more files. But i’ll keep it like that for now in case more information is needed

You can stop this from happening by turning off Browser Control in Antigravity’s settings.

It sounds like the browser agent may have gotten stuck after the browser session was stopped and continued generating screenshots in the browser_recordings folder. Disabling Browser Control should prevent Antigravity from launching or controlling the browser, which also prevents those browser recordings from being created.

I’d also delete the existing browser_recordings folder once you’ve confirmed you don’t need anything in it.
