As an ultra user, I’ve been hitting my claude quota in 30 minutes and having to wait hours to get access back to opus/sonnet models. I’ve had to create frameworks and guard rails for Gemini pro 3.1. Although the output from Gemini pro 3.1 has gotten so bad for the work I do that I don’t even use it anymore.
Haiku would be nice to have in future.
3.1 is like a Clydesdale without blinders on the transition is night and Day when when I run out of usage on other models and have to use it in my current workflow. The context window is nice, but it misses the forrest through the trees sometimes.
I had to buy a Claude max subscription and use the extension and may transition everything over to Claude if the quality of life is adjusted in the coming weeks and months I had to do a really huge overhaul on token budget and streamlining my setup and it’s still not worth it anymore.
